Positive planning
Ashley Flintoff, director of planning and space management, works in Facilities Planning and Management at Wayne State. She's also a student here, aiming to graduate in December with a master's in urban planning.
Ashley enjoys building relationships and bringing people together, whether it's at work, in her neighborhood - she lives in Woodbridge - or in the city of Detroit. "Working at Wayne State has allowed me to use my skills to positively impact my community, my city and the future of my country by providing spaces that allow the goals of Wayne State to flourish," she said.
Ashley gives back to Wayne State through payroll deduction. It's an easy way for her to make a sizable impact through small gifts every pay period. "Payroll deduction allows me to split my donation among a variety of efforts I am passionate about," she said. Ashley's current payroll deduction supports WDET. She also supports the WSU Police Department, the HIGH Program and The W Food Pantry.
