The CFR team manages relationships with hundreds of funders, many of which prefer one point of contact at large universities, limit the number of submissions from institutions, or expect funding discussions to center on institutional priorities. Centrally coordinating funders allows us to know the history and effectively develop relationships that will advance the university mission. This is why we request clearance on these particular funders prior to submitting a letter of inquiry or proposal.
