Student call center
The Wayne State University Student Call Center employs students to reach out to alumni, parents, friends and graduating seniors year-round in support of university initiatives. The Student Call Center's mission is to increase Annual Giving participation and share information about campus programs. Student callers are committed to encouraging support for the university experience to benefit the students of today and tomorrow.
Alumni, parents and friends may be contacted up to two times per year from a student caller. The Student Call Center has been active since 2005 and helps raise more than a half million dollars every year in support of students and faculty as well as academic programs and research.
The Student Call Center employs up to 35 students who share their Wayne State experience with alumni and friends, as well as news about the university and its schools and colleges. In addition, students collect updated alumni information to help lower mailing costs and reduce returned mail.
The Student Call Center operates throughout the year Monday through Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. EST and on Sundays from 2 until 5 p.m. and from 6 until 9 p.m. EST.
